MainStreet Presents 2007 Batavia Housewalk 8/08/2007 Batavia, IL: Batavia MainStreet presents the 2007 Batavia Housewalk on Saturday September 15th. This new MainStreet benefit event was a brainchild of board member and Housewalk Chair Sharon Harwick (Fabric Boutique LLC) and showcases an eclectic mix of west side Batavia homes. Area residents are invited to tour housing styles that celebrate Batavia, including: a Frank Lloyd Wright prairie style home, “The Ravine,” a Victorian lady, town home, tear down/new construction and large contemporary. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased online or at any of the five ticket sale locations: Fabric Boutique, LLC (5 S Batavia Ave), Sue’s Family Hair Co., (137 S Batavia Ave), K. Hollis Jewelers (147 S Randall Rd) and Gibby’s Wine Den in Geneva (1772 S Randall Rd) as well as the MainStreet office (13 E Wilson St temporary location). A $5 off ticket coupon is available at any of the five locations and may be used through September 7th (one coupon allowed per ticket purchased). Volunteers are now needed to make the Batavia Housewalk a success. House docents and volunteers are needed as well as servers for the tea at the Methodist Church from 10 am – 4 pm on Saturday September 15th.
