05-15-2006

Batavia, IL: The 11th Annual Batavia Farmers’ Market runs July through October and is sponsored by Harris, N.A., LaSalle Bank, and Quarry Stone Condominiums and presented by Batavia MainStreet. The 2006 Market features four themed weeks the first of each month at the south end of S. Water Street. The four theme weeks are located on the south end of the Market and also feature live music from 8 am – Noon. The four theme markets include: “Motorcycles at the Market,” July 1st organized by Nello’s Motorcycles, “European Market” August 5th, “Nature’s Showcase” on September 2 and “Business Boulevard” on October 7. Also featured is a community group “free” day at the Market Windmill City Fest weekend on July 8th.

Crafters are invited to register for the south market area any Saturday except the four themed weeks. Pre-registration at least one week prior to market participation is highly suggested due to limited space. Contact (630) 761-3528 or email britta@downtownbatavia.com to receive an application or download forms at www.downtownbatavia.com.
