Batavia MainStreet Announces "Nights on the
Town" Raffle Batavia, IL: The Batavia MainStreet Board of Directors announces a MainStreet benefit called "Nights on the Town" raffle. Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25 for a chance to win one of four downtown Batavia entertainment packages worth approximately $500 each. Funds raised from the raffle will be used to support the 2006 summer Shakespeare in the Park series. First Prize is "Please Be Seated" and includes two season tickets to First Street Playhouse and dinner for two coupons from One East Wilson, Pepe's, Fox Grill and The Venice Tavern restaurants plus a $25 gift card from Citgo Service Center of Batavia. Second Prize is "Variety is the Spice of Life"v and includes two season tickets to First Street Playhouse and dinners for two at Thai Village Restaurant, O'Brien's Pub and Grill, Fantastico and El Taco Grande plus a $25 gift card from Citgo Service Center of Batavia. Third Prize is "Pizza and a Play," which includes two season tickets to First Street Playhouse, pizza coupons from Jailhouse Pizza, Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, and Charlie Fox's plus a $25 gift certificate from Citgo Service Center of Batavia. Fourth Prize is "On the Go to a Show," and includes season tickets for two to First Street Playhouse, carry out coupons to East China Inn, Panda, Char House, and Panera Bread plus a $25 gift card to Citgo Service Center of Batavia. All the prizes were donated by participating businesses to raise funds for Batavia MainStreet. Tickets are on sale from any MainStreet Board of Directors, Sue's Family Hair Co, Batavia MainStreet office (2 E. Wilson upstairs) and the First Street Playhouse or by calling (630) 761-3528. The drawing will be held at BatFest on Saturday October 29th at 4:30 p.m. at the MainStage (Peg Bond Center). Winners do not need to be present to win.
