PROM-O-RAMA 2011 TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE
Batavia, IL: Batavia MainStreet is partnering with downtown Batavia businesses and friends to present “Prom--Rama 2011” on Sunday February 20 at 3 pm at Shannon Hall, Batavia Eastside Community Center. This Chicagoland 2011 Prom Preview is in its’ second year and chaired by Special Occasions on the Avenue Owner, Mary Marconi-Popiel. A committee of downtown Batavia business owners plans and presents Prom-O-Rama and work together to showcase all the businesses that cater to those planning for Prom 2011.
Prom-O-Rama includes live music, a prom business expo, style show and creative dance. The doors open at 3:00 pm and a reserved ticket is required to enter as space is limited. A limited number of tickets are now available at the following sponsoring businesses: Invitations Etc., Simonetti Studios, Special Occasions on the Avenue and Urban Style. Additionally, a raffle and silent auction of items donated by participating businesses benefits Suicide Prevention Services at the event.
Batavia MainStreet Executive Director, Britta McKenna is excited about MainStreet partnering with the event for a second year, “Prom-O-Rama is a wonderful example of downtown businesses working together to create a unique event that showcase their businesses and bring people to downtown Batavia.” Marconi-Popiel adds, “I think this will turn out to be a very special event for high school girls and their moms.
