Batavia House Walk

The date has been set for the 2011 Batavia House Walk, sponsored by Batavia MainStreet. This years’ event will take place on Sunday, September 25 from 11 am to 4 pm. Five distinctive Batavia homes and a tea for all House Walk visitors will highlight this years’ event. Downtown Batavia shops and restaurants will also be offering specials for House Walk participants.
The House Walk is presented by The Kane County Chronicle and benefits Batavia MainStreet and efforts to revitalize downtown Batavia. The Batavia MainStreet Program is one of 51 not-for-profit, community based organizations in the state of Illinois. The mission of the Batavia MainStreet is to enhance the identity of Batavia’s downtown area as the heart of the community.
