$25.2 Million in Recovery Zone Bonds Available to Area Companies

See links below for information regarding Kane County’s Recovery Zone Facility Bond Program, which is intended to stimulate the local economy by providing the private-sector with access to lower-cost, tax-exempt bond financing.  Under this program, companies may finance improvements to their property or purchase equipment used in their business.  Please forward this information to businesses in your community that might be interested in the program.  Click HERE for cover letter.  Click HERE for instructions and HERE for application.Applications for Recovery Zone Facility Bonds should be submitted to the Kane County Office of Community Reinvestment by 4:30 pm on Friday, June 4, 2010.

City of Batavia's Downtown Improvement Grant!

The City of Batavia has widened the scope of the sprinkler grant to include interior rehabilitation of buildings in the historic district of downtown Batavia.  The grants are on a rolling basis (no deadlines) and are matched 50/50 with a minimum of $2,500 for each project and maximum of $25,000.  Click HERE for the link to the City of Batavia web site to get your grant application.  Contact the MainStreet office at (630) 761-3528 for assistance if you need it.  We are happy to help you make your renovation dollars go further and give input to your project if requested.
