Batavia MainStreet is preparing for the 2012 Prom-O-Rama event to take place on Sunday, February 12, 2012.
Although Prom-O-Rama is a prom fashion show and expo created to showcase a one stop shop for all your needs for prom, the main objective of the event is to raise awareness and funds for Suicide Prevention Services of America. Last year alone Prom-O-Rama raised over $1000 while also educating teens and their families on where they could go for any prevention and postvention needs.
Suicide Prevention Services of America (SPSA) is an organization dedicated to advocacy and collaboration with the community to expand its reach to advance the cause for suicide prevention. SPSA is devoted to saving lives and restoring hope through prevention, intervention and postvention.
To help make this year a success and grow the event, we invite you to participate in this fundraiser in whatever way works best for you.
All opportunities reach out to an audience who is looking for 2012 trends in fashion and style, hair and accessories as well as those who support the SPSA mission. Your sponsorship, ad or raffle item also demonstrates your support Suicide Prevention Services and for Batavia MainStreet.
Reservations, art and payment are due by Monday, January 9, 2012 to Batavia MainStreet, 4 ½ W. Wilson St., Batavia, IL 60510.
Feel free to contact the Batavia MainStreet office at 630-761-3528 or email joi@downtownbatavia.com for assistance.
Warm regards,
Prom-O-Rama Team
